The Quality Assurance (QA) Intern will support the QA team in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role provides a hands-on learning experience in various aspects of quality assurance, including testing, documentation, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing:

• Assist in the execution of test plans and test cases for software/hardware products.
• Participate in manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product functionality.
• Record and track defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Documentation:

• Help in maintaining and updating QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Document test results and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Ensure all QA documentation is up-to-date and stored appropriately.

Process Improvement:

• Assist in identifying areas for process improvement within the QA team.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance QA practices.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on QA-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and ensure quality standards are met.

Learning and Development:

• Engage in learning opportunities related to quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Seek feedback and apply it to improve performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of QA principles and methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in a QA role.
• Familiarity with QA tools and software (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
